1970

Lloyd Schneider starts his own business as a government contractor in Lockport, IL

1979

L.W. Schneider Inc. moves to Princeton, IL, in a 2,400 sqft plant with 4 employees—all family

1981

Awarded large contract for Ejection Port Covers for the M16 military rifle

1983

Presented the “Quality Excellence” Award by the United States Department of Defense

1985

Product sales expand commercially to wholesalers and other manufacturers at gun shows nationwide

2006

All of the best manufacturers rely on L.W. Schneider’s quality components to build their AR-15’s

L.W. Schneider Inc.—now with a team of 400 working in an 86,000 sqft state-of-the-art facility—manufactures a wide variety of products, including parts for tactical rifles, bolt action rifles, and pistols, and has maintained a reputation as one of the best manufacturers in the industry.
